Helping Future Lawyers Succeed: Albany Law's Bar Success Program
Every Albany Law student works toward the same goal: becoming a practicing attorney. The journey doesn't end at graduation—it continues through one of the biggest milestones in a legal career: passing the bar exam.
In this video, December 2025 graduate Megan Martucci shares her experience preparing for the February 2026 Bar Exam and how Albany Law's Bar Success Program helped her along the way. You'll also hear from Professor Dan Bollana '16, Director of Bar Success and Associate Professor of Law, about the specialized courses, individualized support, and mentoring that help prepare students for success.
Albany Law's Bar Success Program includes:
• Specialized bar preparation courses
• Individualized academic support
• A Bar Mentoring Program for third-year students
• Resources designed to help graduates confidently prepare for the Bar Exam
For some students, the financial cost of commercial bar preparation courses and exam-related expenses can create an additional challenge. The Eugene P. Devine '40 Family Bar Preparation Assistance Fund helps ensure students have access to the resources they need to succeed.
